2016 Michael A. Manna and Associates Scholarship

Prize – $500

The New Jersey Elder Law Attorneys of The Manna Helmy Law Group will be providing a scholarship of $500 to one 2016 high school graduate or recent college graduate who will be entering their first year of law school. The goal of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to help start the student on the correct path in furthering their education. This scholarship can be utilized for supplies, books, and other college or law school related expenses.

To apply for this scholarship, please provide a 500 word minimum essay discussing one of the topics listed below. We will review all essays and select the most impressive and persuasive entry as our winner. After completing your essay, please fill out the indicated fields on the form below.

Essay Topics:

1) If you were to describe yourself by a quotation, what would the quote be? Explain your answer.

2) If you founded your own college or university, what topic of study would you make mandatory for all students to study and why? What would be the values and priorities of your institution and why?

3) Select a creative work – a novel, a film, a poem, a musical piece, a painting or other work of art – that has influenced the way you view the world and the way you view yourself. Discuss the work and its effect on you.
